He is a licensed captain with a Master's rating and although he has knowledge and experience in all types of fishing he specializes in sport fishing for halibut, salmon, ling cod, bass, and snapper. Artie had some spare time between deliveries of his sinkers to the charter captains, so he started crewing with Captain John. The match between his energy, the captain and clients was a good one, so he stayed on. Artie has been fishing Resurrection Bay and the surrounding waters since age five when he went out with his dad and uncles. His amiable ways and helpful attitude are always a hit with Chieko Charters clients.
